Dakota Voices at Isaac Symposium in Germany

Dakota Voices appeared in Konstanz, Germany at the famous Konstanz Münster in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the commissioning of Heinrich Isaac's Choralis Constantinus, singing in front of a standing-room-only crowd of over 1700 listeners.

The Choralis Constantinus is a set of choral motets based on Gregorian chant composed by Heinrich Isaac in 1508-1509. Markus Utz, Munsterchordirektor at the Konstanz cathedral and professor of choral conducting at the University of Zurich, hosted a Choralis Constantinus Symposium at the Konstanz Münster in May 2008.  He invited Dakota Voices, Ensemble Officium and Ensemble Cantissimo to be the choirs in residence for the Symposium. Dr. Feiszli prepared music for the event and presented workshops on the Choralis Constantinus.
